Description
You have experience, knowledge, and wisdom that you would like to share through formal in-service training sessions, but you don’t know how to start. How does one develop an effective training session, useful presentation, and quality handout materials?
Unfortunately, outside of expensive, corporate train-the-trainer sessions, little exists to equip presenters (both current and future) to deliver high-impact, quality presentations and workshops.
The Workshop Workshop fills the gap by offering principles pulled from the fields of adult learning, perception psychology, cognitive load theory, and instructional design. Topics include learning how to present information for maximum participant buy-in, discovering the place of audience participation in presentations, tips for creating effective multimedia (PowerPoint) presentations, and examples of effective handout materials. All this in a fun, interactive session! If you have ever thought about presenting, or would like your presentations to be even better, bring an idea for a session to this workshop!
